    Skilled Fitter (Mechanical Engineer)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person for mechanical installation and duct fitting role.

    Although experience in the mechanical installation is not essential, you should have experience in installing ductwork and be a confident team leader.

    You will be required to work weekdays, with the occasional weekend work also available.  Work can be located anywhere within the UK, so the role involves a lot of travelling to and from site.

    A full driving licence (inc Class B/B1) would be required and proof of right to work in the UK.

    The role involves:

    • Mechanical Installation of our extraction systems and installing the inter-connecting ductwork to our customers woodworking machines.
    • Servicing existing systems
    • Replacing tubular filters in our filter systems
    • Occasionally working in confined spaces.
    • Occasionally working at height.

     

    Main Requirements:

    • Experience in mechanical installation would be good but not essential as full training will be given.
    • A good attitude with a positive look on learning new skills.
    • A Team Leader, able to work as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Willing to work long hours, with the occasional stay away.
    • Reliable, Punctual & Trustworthy

    Hours – Monday to Friday – Working up to 60 hours and will include early starts.

    Occasional weekend work is optional.

    Normal working week is 8-4.30 Mon – Fri

    Excellent rates of pay + overtime rate for the right candidate.

    General Summary

    We are recruiting an internal product maintenance salesperson for a compnay based in High Wycombe . The successful candidate will be responsible for targeting and contacting customers via email and telephone to determine if maintenance of company products is required. They will be required to issue quotations and provide any required customer information. The CRM system, Salesforce will be required to be used extensively and training can be provided if necessary.

    Duties will include but not be limited to:

    • Develop lists of prospects from using Salesforce database.
    • Email and call prospective customers and explain the type of maintenance services offered.
    • If required negotiate and close sales.
    •  Follow up with customers post maintenance to ensure satisfaction.
    • Respond to queries and solve or refer problems.
    • Track monthly personal sales.

    Working in a garden centre environment. you will be responsible for looking after bedding plants, ensuring that all products are watered & feed. Manual handling of products will be required so some heavy lifting involved.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Loading/unloading deliveries
    • Setting down stock & Stoke take
    • lifting, cleaning, packing, potting plants
    • Assisting with other garden nursery duties during busy periods

    Some experience preferred however for the right candidate full training will be given.

    I am currently recruiting for a fantastic company in the High Wycombe area for a machine engineer.

    The candidate will be required to learn how bespoke machines work, and be able to diagnose any faults and repair, general maintenance and up keep of the machines, and assisting throughout the production areas to ensure production targets are met.
    There is no specific requirement for this job, I am looking for candidates who have a good mechanical mind, someone with a background in mechanics, or a candidate who has worked as a machine minder / setter who has done an element of fault finding / repair previously.
    The hours for this role are varied, but to start will be 10 – 11 hours per day Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work.
    This is a temp to perm role, and has an immediate start for the right candidate.
