Production Operative

Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the factory’s production efficiency, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable and the moving of products in and around the production departments. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting duties.

Key responsibilities:

• To be involved in all stages of production/assembly, ensuring that individual jobs meet our rigorous quality standards
• Ensure that a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times.
• Operation of a range of machinery and handheld tools
• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including production lines, prep rooms, and communal spaces
• Moving heavy goods and food products up to 25kg
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained, reporting any shortages to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or additional cleaning.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Full training and support will be given.
