Full job description

We’re looking to expand our talented team and are seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our central production kitchen.

The Role:

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll be at the heart of the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’ll work closely with our chefs and kitchen team to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and support food preparation. The role is fast-paced, so you’ll need to be proactive and efficient, ensuring we uphold our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including sweeping & mopping the floors, emptying bins etc.
• Washing & drying all dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in basic food prep and simple tasks under the direction of chefs.
• Support the kitchen team with various duties as required to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored properly.
• Occasionally helping to load in and out equipment for various jobs.
• Putting deliveries away & helping to organise dry store areas & fridge/freezers.
• Cleaning of offices and toilets
• Doing the laundry

Job Types: Part time,

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 6 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• mornings
• evenings
• weekend availability
