Our Client well established client is looking for a Guest Host, for reception / concierge service to receive and mange visitors / contractors and employees efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Job Duties :
Ensuring front desk is manned at all times (between the hours of 08:00 to 17:30)
Ensuring all visitors and contractors are correctly signed into visitor management system and are issued with the appropriate security passes – visitor and contractor passes and lanyards will be sufficiently stocked at all times
Offer cloakroom facilities as necessary
Ensure guests are escorted to relevant meeting rooms. If host has not arrived within 5 minutes Guest Services to locate host and remind guests are waiting
Ensuring all meetings rooms are prepared in advance to include table and seating set up and refreshments in the public facing rooms (water as standard, other refreshments as required).
Ensuring each meeting room is cleared after each use and set up for the next meeting with all hospitality requirements organised and delivered on time:
This includes set up and service of all beverages and catering orders, including any ad-hoc events required by the client
Restocking and maintaining the beverage station
Competent in the operation of but not limited to:
The procedure for greeting and hosting visitors, contractors, staff and all guests
Meeting room management software
Building entry and exit procedures, including fire procedures and parking
Switchboard (when required)
Responsible for maintaining internal meeting rooms and open plan office area, to include but not limited to:
Maintain all work areas, especially the reception area to ensure it is clean, tidy and in a safe condition at all times, ensuring all personal belongings are not visible
Each meeting room is checked regularly throughout the day i.e. chairs are set up correctly, table tops clear of old or used crockery and facilities are ready for use
Set-up, cleaning and maintenance of staff coffee machine
Ensure all food service areas are clean and tidy at all times during the day; Including, loading and unloading of dishwashers of all relevant items
Ensure all kitchenettes and brew stations have sufficient stocks and supplies
Spot check and correct any daytime housekeeping issues.
Management and ordering of the following:
Weekly delivery / Food Orders
All incoming and outgoing post / Couriers
Archiving
Stationery / Printers
Pool car key issuing
To be a ‘go to’ contact for all floor occupants and visitors
Build positive working relationships at all levels and be visible and available at all times
To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with guests and colleagues
To ensure the highest level of guest care at all times
To demonstrate a can do attitude towards individual guest requests and strive at all times to exceed guest expectations
Be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required
To ensure that all building faults are reported, monitoring progress and closure
Undertake any planned and reactive service tasks to meet the specific needs of the client
£12.00 per Hour temp to Perm
Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week – Extra hours will be paid according to business needs.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
