Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Goods In Operative to work in Colnbrook .You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing incoming goods and materials. Your role will involve operating forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming goods and materials, verifying their quantity and quality
• Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies
• Book in all deliveries onto our MRP system
• Organize and store goods in designated areas within the warehouse
• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials as needed
• Build pallets or crates for shipping purpose
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely delivery of goods to production area
• Maintain control of Customer owned goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records including frequent stock checks
• Keep all areas of the factory and yard tidy and organised

Key skills:

• Warehouse experience within a FMCG environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to use own initiative and demonstrate a common sense approach to duties
• Computer Literate,
• Good understanding of all H&S issues relevant to a Warehouse environment

Requirements

• Active Forklift license.
• Warehouse Experience.

• Ability to work quickly and methodically whilst following correct procedures.
• Maintain detailed written records.
• Good team working skills.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed procedures.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.
• Ability to identify and solve problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
