    Contract Sybase ASE DBA required. 

    Our award winning, Hertfordshire based client seeks an experienced Sybase DBA with the following must have skills and experience: 

    Minimum of 6 years of commercial Sybase DBA experience.

    Essential technical skills:

    •Sybase ASE 12.5.x and 15.x database administration tasks

    •SQL & SQL Queries

    •Microsoft SQL Certification

    •Capacity planning

    •Writing stored procedures

    •SQL Programing and Database Management

    •SQL Frameworks –(Transact-SQL, SQL 2000, 2014, 2016)

    •Advanced knowledge of database structure and theory

    •Familiarity with reporting tools

    •Problem Solving and good analytical skills

    •Communication, teamwork

    •Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design

    •Flexibility and adaptability

    •MongoDB administration

    •Database monitoring

    •Server and database security

    This is a 6- 12 month contract offering an immediate start.

    Goods In Operative

    Role

    As a Goods In operative you will ensure the smooth flow and delivery of material through the site from receipt of deliveries to the dispatch of finished product to our customers.

    FLT license would be preferred OR training will be provided you will be loading and unloading trailers, booking in and quality assessing materials delivered to site including documentation of stock taking.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To ensure all principles of raw materials received are understood, co-ordinated and utilised for the correct client.
    • To ensure all documentation connected with the storage and transfer of goods to Production of all goods are documented, completed and controlled to allow full traceability and take full responsibility for completing outstanding paperwork.
    • To liaise with internal and external Departments to ensure any issues are known, understood and resolved quickly and accurately and to report any such issues to your leadership team.
    • To ensure vehicles on site are marshalled and unloaded in the most effective manner to meet operational needs.

    Skills, Experience and Qualification Required

    • FLT license Preferred, but training will be provided.
    • Basic IT skills
    • Good communication skills-written and verbal
    • Relevant experience within an warehouse environment
    • You will be energetic, reliable and flexible in your approach with excellent problem solving skills.

     

    Standard working pattern 8am – 4pm Monday-Friday ,37.5 hours per week.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: £9 to £9.50 /hour

    Essential skills include: ERP Software, Post-Sales Implementation and services, Finance systems

    The Systems / Applications Consultant role is responsible for Post-Sales Implementation of the of the company’s Applications Product Suite.

    • To provide post-sales implementation services in line with the companies Implementation Methodology (IM), typical tasks are to include;
    • Initial Implementation Studies
    • Customer education in both groups and ‘one on one’ situations
    • Business consultancy using the modern methods (Consultants must keep up to date with modern working practices)
    • Adherence to project budget, scope and timescales
    • Document the project as specified within the Implementation Methodology including Scope Tool, Book of Rules, Implementation and Test Trackers
    • Specification of CRIM objects
    • Administration tasks;
    • To liaise with the appropriate resources i.e; Consulting Group Manager, Academy, RnD etc. to continually develop & enhance the application, implementation and training materials, and other sales and consultancy collateral.
    • From time to time, an application consultant may be required to liaise with sales management to provide pre-sales consultancy/presentations, and to construct ITT responses and customer proposals
