    Graphic Designer

    Job Description

    Our client based just outside Reading seeks a Graphic Designer.

    They’re looking for a creative, talented self-starter; someone that shows initiative but can follow design direction. They want someone who can hit the ground running from day one and work on a number of different projects.

    You will be responsible for taking high resolution website pictures, contributing to their own catalogue and packaging, and putting together a portfolio for customers. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be an all-round Graphic Designer; highly creative, proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with UX/UI able to manage your own workloads and not bored by repetitive tasks. Prior experience should include working on layouts and presentation decks, producing promotional materials including small print collateral.

    Requirements

    • 2+ years’ experience in similar role.
    • Knowledge of Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign and Illustrator
    • Ability to follow brand guidelines but able to contribute new, creative ideas.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines.
    • Keen sense of visual storytelling and composition.
    • An outgoing, team player that is happy to share creative ideas and work collaboratively with the marketing and design team.

    Interviews will be held at the start of January.

    Product Manager

     

    Key Duties:

     

    Key to our ability to scale and deliver great service to clients is the introduction and maintenance of standardised services. The Research and Development team play a key role in defining and launching these services. Each service must be productised in terms of sales collateral and process, service scope, operations automation and pricing.

     

    Business Management

     

    • Produce monthly forecasts, activity and management reports
    • Monitor performance against the budget, and ensure budget compliance
    • Maintain an updated price list for Microsoft products and services
    • Ensure the accurate billing and reconciliation of Microsoft products
    • Establish and maintain relationships with the key business and technology stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain great working relationships with sales teams, services teams and third parties
    • Represent THE CLIENT as an authority on product management for services related to the THE CLIENT managed service and CloudCare propositions.
    • Proactively attend relevant vendor events and being the “go-to” individual for your aligned products and services
    • Perform (internal or external) customer research using cost-effective means of gaining insight into the “voice of the customer”
    • Conduct and manage market research collectively with sales teams to define appropriate market rate pricing for new services
    • Facilitate and drive alignment among key stakeholders, provide support to Business Development Managers during the sales process
    • Work with key stakeholders to develop and refine business and pricing models for the product. Create cost models for services in collaboration with FP&A/Finance representatives
    • Continually monitor and optimise the product while in market.
    • Identify and champion toolsets that complement THE CLIENT services
    • Utilise and help refine THE CLIENT standards for product design and management

     

    Product Delivery Management

     

    • Ensure the company is prepared to deliver and support the product throughout its life cycle by owning the process of definition, prototype, launch, and refining of the products and services.
    • Responsible for the creation, final release and approval of all associated documentation required for the ongoing management of assigned products.
    • Act as the “keeper and communicator of the vision”
    • Understand and clearly articulate the commercial proposition of each product and aspects of business justification both for THE CLIENT and the client
    • Collaborate and coordinate with other product managers to avoid duplication and manage dependencies
    • Define and maintain a roadmap of future products and enhancements that is aligned with the overall business strategy and vendor roadmaps
    • Collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams
    • Define, document and oversee internal process that support launched services
    • Provide effective training and workshops for various groups including sales and services on the products which have been designed before launch
    • Collaborate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to manage the flow of new ideas and align product / platform architectures and capabilities
    • Support THE CLIENT compliance with ISO 20000 focused on the design and transition of new or changed services alongside the removal of major services.
    • Engage as required to support the on-going assessment and audit of this documentation and associated processes by 3rd parties, vendors and customers

    Moderate (will require visits to other THE CLIENT offices)

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

     

    To proactively and reactively respond to software and hardware infrastructure alarms received from customer server, software applications and network devices.

     

    Documented processes and procedures are used and followed to work within SLA and OLA targets in line with customer contracts.

     

    Alarms will be received from the clients monitoring tool set and from system automated email notifications.

     

    Customer SLA and client OLA’s apply to the response times required and the actions undertaken in a timely manner when responding to production performance issues and interruption to service.

     

    The role is shift rota based providing support 24x7x365 across the team:

     

    4 shifts – Nights – 20:00pm to 08:00am

     

    4 days – Off

     

    4 shifts – Days – 08:00am to 20:00pm

     

    4 days – Off

     

    Escalate potential service issues with Team Leader/Event Management Delivery Manager /Service Delivery Manager as required.

     

    Identify and escalate potential problem issues with Problem and Incident Management.

     

    Actively seek to improve and grow own skill and knowledge base in appropriate areas. Expectation to study for and pass exams if required for the role and funded by the company.

    The Role

    The Digital Services Senior Consultant is a multi-disciplinary role covering all aspects of digital forensics and eDisclosure and would suit candidates with several years’ industry experience looking to take the next step in their career.
