    Job description

    Responsible for moving goods, loading pallets into racking and equipment safety and securely by use of Bendi/Aisle Master fork lift truck. In addition, other duties include a range of packaging shipments, checking inventories etc. Primary duties include:-

    • Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
    • Safely loading and unloading pallets of goods freight onto racking
    • Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
    • Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
    • Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
    • Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
    • Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
    • Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
    • Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

    Monday – Friday 730am – 430pm approx. 48 hours per week

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Working in a garden centre environment. you will be responsible for looking after bedding plants, ensuring that all products are watered & feed. Manual handling of products will be required so some heavy lifting involved.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Loading/unloading deliveries
    • Setting down stock & Stoke take
    • lifting, cleaning, packing, potting plants
    • Assisting with other garden nursery duties during busy periods

    Some experience preferred however for the right candidate full training will be given.

    Due to the location of the client you must have access to your own transport.
